Two presentations of A Northern Tapestry, by Whistling Fish Productions, were held at the ArtSpring theatre on Salt Spring Island in November 2014. The performance was written to celebrate the beauty of the Canadian landscape as seen through the eyes of Canadian artists in image, word and music. Both historic and contemporary works were featured. Five of Allan's paintings were among the images used.
